Just chill out. You are not the only one who missed an event or two. Just enjoy your vacation. There will be other events.

Yeah, I'm sure they will do like Faction: PvP event then a PvE Event. They will just introduce the characters (with no dance like the Rit during the PvP event)

Yep. I like the PvP Preview events because once the actuall game comes out, no one has any idea on the PvE side of it, or the complete vision on the PvP.
How many other games give us this sort of thing?

Tis what I thought..

k lemme get this straight spear wielding shouting holy warriors and scythe wielding warrior/ele/monk/o_O... Somehow this is looking like another assassin shipwreak.
--edit

The assassin is only bad because the players who play them choose not to play them properly. I'm not a melee fellow at all, but I can see how sad it is people utilize the Assassin in Cantha.

So all classes from prophecies(core classes) are getting new armor and skills? This kinda leaves the asasssin and the rituallist in the dark a little bit. Hope they expand on this a little.

Coincidentally, speaking of Dervish/Zasalamel comparisons, anyone else remember that part about Dervish being able to become the embodiment of a God?
Im sure anyone who played Soul Calibur 3 also remembers how Zasalamel basically did the same thing to become the endgame boss, I wonder if this will be as painful to fight against =p
I also have to say, speaking of similarities to Soul Calibur 3, I'd love to see a future profession that used either Nunchucks or that Iron Hoop thing Tira uses (not sure what that's called)

Funny how people see a hood and a scythe and say it's imitating some character from some soul excalibur game or something. Ever heard of the GRIM REAPER? Well, I guess that's based of zalgargamel too, eh. Similarly, people hear "spear thrower" and they go "ZOMG Diablo2 amazon clone", as if Blizzard had INVENTED THE SPEAR or something. On another board, people were complaining that Anet had "invented some class" (oh, what a sin that would be), and they were only pacified when someone else said there was already a dervish used in a Final Fantasy game, or something, which made it acceptable for anet to use one. so much for inovation, eh? o well.
btw, this is not directed specifically at the quoted poster, it's more of a generalist rant by me.

I don't know that character, but from your description those would be Chakrams, which incidentally are already focus items for Mesmers on GW.

I can't wait for the PvP weekend. Im not that much of a PvP guy, but Im looking forward to seeing the new classes in action.
Also to see their armour
At first glance Paragons look like they could be the class for me in Nightfall.

the Iron Hoop I mentioned isn't a Chakram, it was in reference to this:

I honestly cannot remember what it is called, but i've seen it before in an old martial arts flick.
*edited, picture is a little on the large side

character slots for nightfall preview
I sure hope they add the option to buy new character slots for 9.99 before this weekend preview. I DONT wanna have to delete my poor lvl 20 mesmer to make a pvp character. (Id rather delete the mesmer than any of my other 5 lvl 20s, even though id like to keep all of em). Ive been waiting soooo long for this option! now is a good time to do it, plz!
NOTE: I love playing mesmers but the reason I would delete my pve mesmer is cause I only use it for pvp anyway, so deleting it for a pvp character would be better than my others.

Uh, they have done that. It's called the Guildwars Shop where you can purchase up to 26 more character slots.
I'm so tired of people whining about not getting they're way...I dont know how you people make it in life if you wont make it in a game.
